The lost episode that wasn’t lost

It turns out I did hit the record button.

Temporary Punker
My annual mohawk. It only lasts for about ten minutes. Just long enough to freak out my wife and kids.

Without facial hair
Bonus photo: Me without the goatee. I started growing it back right after I took the pic.

  1. Wow, I took a look at the phone online and that is pretty wild that you can get something like that in Japan for only $85. I recently purchased a new phone, and even with $190 off, I still payed $90 to cover the rest. And its functionality? Well, it can take 640 x 480 pictures (no video) and thats really about it.

    1. A couple of TV commercials are on this page:

Your phones are so primitive it’s unbelievable. Sounds like at least five years behind. The big thing now is terrestrial digital TV broadcasts reception, and I’ve seen one or two people watching it on trains. And RFID cashless wallets.

My phone will also play music, but not MP3s. It’s some propriatary format that forces to you to use the sorriest, fugliest piece of shit excuse I’ve ever seen for PC software to rip your CDs. I’m tempted to post a screenshot so it can be publicly ridiculed. It won’t even convert MP3s–only WMA and WAV, probably because they were too cheap to buy a license.

Oh, and it’s an FM radio and TV remote, and both receive programming info over the network. Forgot about that. My previous phone did text-to-speech. That was fun for about 10 minutes. Now it’s Tony’s toy and he makes it say…well, you can guess. He’s 9.

  2. Haha you think that’s bad Rich… I am one of the few people i know in the US who doesn’t own a Cell Phone. I am years behind on this technology. So whatever you do, never hand me a cell phone and expect me to know how to dial out a number… I’m lucky if I can figure out how to get it turned on sometimes lol.

  3. Oh yea PS.. I do the mohawk thing too whenever i shave my head. However mine lasts more than 10 minutes. I usually keep it for a day or so, just to get my friends reactions, because I know i probably look goofy with it :). But rock on Rich.
