Today’s Tip

When your boss is in a fit of rage over a mistake you made, don’t try to cheer him up by calling him “Mr. Grumpy Pants” to his face. (It doesn’t work.)

Update: Only joking. I wouldn’t really do that, and neither should you.

BTW, I hope reverting to the default WordPress theme fixes the problem with commenting. If it does, I’ll slowly and carefully start adding stuff back.

Oh, and the RSS feeds are working. The video feed hasn’t barfed all day. I also submitted them to iTunes, since the original seems to be in eternal limbo.

  1. I just hope that your boss is nice enough not to fire you for this. By the way, is he Gaijin or Nihonjin?

    1. That didn’t really happen. My current boss is the best I’ve ever had. He works harder than anyone I’ve met and comes up with amazing ideas.

In a way, my worst boss was also my best boss. Someone who can bring out the absolute worst in you teaches you more about yourself than even the best mentor. I once had a boss whose personality was a lot like Bill O’Riley from Fox News. I’d never wish that kind of stress on anyone, but in hindsight I’m grateful for the experience. Kind of like how an airline pilot who’s forced to fly through a major hurricane becomes a better pilot from the experience.
