I would do a podcast but…
- 1. It's been so long since I've recorded one that I have no idea where I put my microphones. If you saw what my bedroom looks like, you'd understand. The last time I did a podcast, I was 39 years old. I'm 41 now.
- 2. My parents listen, so the topics I can cover are severely limited. During the train ride home tonight I was listening to Adam Carolla talk for half an hour about a carbuncle he had on his anus and how he had to pop with a pin while bent over naked in front of a mirror while shining a flashlight up his ass. I don't have that kind of freedom.
My next podcast will be about marijuana in Japan and why you should avoid it as if it were the most dangerous drug known to man while you're in this country. I'm still doing research. Being the upstanding citizen I am, I don't have any connections to the indigenous cannabis culture, so I need to venture out a bit before I can speak on the topic with any degree of expertise.

It has been a while indeed.
Looking forward to it. I really miss your podcasts.
It is good to hear from you.
Having listen to all your podcasts and even getting to meet you once.
I tend to wonder how you are doing.

I was just wondering about how you were the other day. Would be great to listen to your podcasts again.
It's strange how it's so easy to feel like you miss hearing from some you don't know at all – although probably even stranger for you to think there are others that miss hearing from you.

Sorry for being so quiet, but I really don't have much to talk about.
On twitter the month and year is wrong on your twitts. Checked my cloak and it is fine, raither odd that it would get the date for the users computer and not a server time. I guess that is why your twitt about this new post didn't show up in my feed.
its been too long rich! itunes store doesnt even have herro flom japan podcasts anymore…

@akira My tweets were a treasure trove of self-incriminating evidence so I deleted all of them. I'm starting over, with no more messages about foursomes with Chinese hookers, snorting coke off the toilet seat in the office, or beating my wife and kids with a extension cord.
Nike says "Just Do It". Yes, that was dumb (I am dumb). Just make a podcast already. If you can't find your mics, just buy a new set with your J-government payment. Darren at http://www.giant-squid-audio-lab.com/ would love the business!
Does the chumbucket still exist?
Just two minutes ago I unsubscribed from your podcast feed since I figured that you gave up podcasting for good after not posting anything so long.
I am just gonna resubscribe right now…
Part of the idea and motivation came flom here and now I have a blog and twitter
Nice to hear from you Rich..

I really liked your podcasts. Listening to them was one of the reasons I decided to come to Japan to try it out. I've already been here 2 years. Time flies. All the good Japan podcasts fade out with time the list below have all podfaded.

In the same boat here. Just can't get back on the horse and WHERE did I put all my gadgety things? My chargers? My batteries? USB cables? Mics?
Blerg.
You should get back to podcasting. Really, you should.
