Real Happy Hour Raises the Bar for Video Podcasts
Those drunken lushes over at the The Real Happy Hour released their first video podcast a few days ago, and its production quality is nearly flawless. You have to watch it, it's well worth the download. I can't imagine how many hours it must have taken to produce a video podcast as good as a multi-million dollar cable TV show using a $400 camera, $200 worth of lights, Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
I've been listening to their podcast since episode 1, but had no idea they were as talented with video as they are with audio.
Damn, I gotta get me's some After Effects.

I'm already impressed with just the screenshot.
You know what I like best about them? You can tell they're genuinely nice, intelligent, talented, and creative people. I've listened to too many podcasts–some of them being among the most popular out there–where the hosts are downright malicious.
Thanks much folks, and Rich in particular for the bump. Christ knows we can use it!
And we are terrifically nice people. Just, awfully, awfully nice, really. For the most part.
Cheers!
