If the most recent post has an enclosed media file, the enclosure won't show up in the RSS feed. So what I have to do is create another post (this one).
It took me an hour and a half of mucking around to figure this out.

Definitely WordPress. I'm looking at the local RSS feed generated by WordPress. Everything is OK in the database, so it's a problem in the code. I suspect the PodPress plug-in, but haven't had time to test it.
I love how troubleshooting teaches you stuff you never would have taken the time to learn otherwise. I now know more about the structure of the DB than I ever wanted to, but I'm sure the knowledge will be useful somehow.

Definitely PodPress. I had a similar issue with another site I manage that uses that plugin. Apparently it's been an issue with several other recent versions.
