Magnitude 5.7 Quake hits Tokyo?

Really? I didn’t feel it. Had a completely normal commute to work this morning, didn’t notice any crumbled building or car-swallowing fissures in the earth’s crust.

But then again, I had my iPod’s volume turned up pretty loud.

  1. i felt it… it shook me awake at about 3:20am. my apartment is the second floor of an old house, and shakes pretty easily though. if there is a big one… my place will just falll over.

  2. A friend of mine on the ground floor of my dorm felt it, but that’s because he was awake at the time. The only quake I’ve felt here in Yokohama was the one last October that shook me awake at 7am (!).
Good blog, keep it up 🙂
