[...] Herro Flom Japan - Another racist foreigner blogs his hate of all things Japanese 22Jan07 This foreigner calls his blog insultingly “Herro Flom Japan” - are to believe that he is not racist against the Japanese, or harbors hatred of all people? In one post he cheers on the Chinese soldiers as they gun down innocent Tibetans.
Story song about the shootings on Sept. 30th Mt. Everest
Please forward and share

Listen: http://www.kcrecords.com/tibet/September30th.mp3
Download: http://www.kcrecords.com/tibet/September30th.wav

September 30th (Tibetan Pilgrims)

High on the slopes of Mt. Everest
September 30th
Trekking Tibetan pilgrims walked
single file up a high mountain pass trail
On their way to see the Dalai Lama
“His Holiness” to them

A border guard in uniform takes a shooting position
On a hill not far away
Sniper rifle to his eye
You can see him taking aim
The crack of gunfire
Two innocent ones fall

the official report reported
It was a shooting in self defense
Those pilgrims attacked the guards it said
the guards fired to protect themselves
some pilgrims were taken as political prisoners
even little kids

mountain climbers had a base camp near by
they saw the whole thing in plain view
They were filming a climbing expedition
And their cameras were handy too
They were shocked at what they witnessed
And they got it all on video

I wonder how many people discover this
When you Google the words “Tibetan pilgrims”
You get a half a million hits
With details, and updates and interviews and photographs
And the mountain climber’s video

High on the slopes of Mt. Everest
September 30th
The rest of the pilgrims who made it through
Continued on the trail to Kathmandu
On their way to see the Dalai Lama
“His Holiness” to them

May the people of Tibet stay strong. This is truly a heart wrenching story. So wasteful and unnecessary. :(

I saw this at Digg the other day.. its unbelievable. Its sad how Tibets former self has been lost to the world, and every day under chinese occupation it continues to fade away. It bewilders me why China feels they need to crush and opress their culture and people, but what bewilders me even more is how nobody in the western world seems to care.

I hope the Dalai Lama goes back there during the olympics. He'll be able to draw attention to his cause, and the Chinese government will be in deep shit if they try to do something to him.

At least they have the olympics and "most favored nation status". How is it we consider one country savages, and others not. It's a sad state. I wonder what it will be like when the US is killing people who do not practice the proper religion. It seems like only a matter of time. Maybe I'm just jumping the gun. I have no doubts that Bush will pull out some type of surprise. What's even more frightening is his brother Jeb. As he maneuvers for a presidential slot, I am reminded of all the things he has done (and not done) for Florida. My mom lives there and I keep up with all the goings on in the State. It's sad. It's not the country I once knew. How do I teach civics to children where local, state AND federal government are so lacking.

I don't mean this to be a flame war. I know the arguments and respect those people who disagree with me. Perhaps I'm just being long winded. My intent was not to change anyone's opinion. A flame war will not change mine. I do wish peace to all, including those who disagree with me.

BTW, Rich... Take a look at my LJ and see our newest addition! ;)
