SkypeOut now FREE for US & Canada!

Published by Rich Pav at 2:35 am under General

If you live in the US or Canada, until the end of this year you can use Skype to call any landline or cell phone in the US or Canada for free.

Maybe eBay is planning on putting long distance companies out of business, then begin charging up the ying-yang once they're the only game left in town.

When I was in college, there was a guy on my dorm floor who owed the phone company hundreds of dollars for long distance calls he made daily to his butt-ugly girlfriend on the west coast. These days, you could have a butt-ugly girlfriend in every state of the union and it wouldn't cost a dime.

As soon as they make worldwide phone calls free, I'll start ringin' ya'll up instead of podcasting. Won't that be a hoot at 3am.

out to a regular number or if a call was forward to my cell. Now I can make as many calls as I want and won’t have any concerns about picking it up and talking as long as I want as well. This is a very cool new technology. Thanks “not dead yet” Richard Pav from Japan. Heh, I just reinstalled Skype because I saw that story. It works great, just tested it on the home phone.
