I know, I know.

Forgive me listeners, for I have sinned. It has been a month since my last podcast.

I will get one out this week, I promise. Even if it’s just me making fart noises by cupping my armpit.

Don’t let anyone tell you that editing hours of audio isn’t a bitch. I either have to learn to enjoy it or find a good way to organize raw audio files. Maybe I need to get into the habit of making shorter files when recording.

  1. BTW, I’m thinking of trying my hand at a binaural podcast (you’ve inspired me! lol) and I have an equipment question. Would you mind emailing me? Thanks, even if you don’t…it’s all good. 😉

  2. Right on, glad to hear you haven’t hung up the earbuds. Less editing is a good thing, and personally I dig the random mutterings and all of the background sounds.

  3. Whenever you get around to it is fine, no need to apologize. Looking forward to your next podcast.

  4. Hallelujah! I was beginning to think you were kidnapped by giant robots or something, held without recording gear or computer. I’ve enjoyed all the ‘casts you’ve done so far and I’m looking forward to the next! I believe the trip through Akihabara was my favorite. Thanks…later.

    1. Nope. Mistaken for an American whiskey exceutive off on a comapny funded “research tour”, Rich was kidnapped by East African love hotel pimps and held hostage in the Hello Kitty room with nothing to eat but ramen. Forced to improvise, Rich hacked together wire recording gear from an empty styrofoam ramen cup, the magnet from a discarded cell phone and painstakingly straightened wire extracted from underwire bras discarded by kogyaru. When it was realized that the only thing of value Rich had was his massive collection of Masogoro CD’s, he was respectfully and politely shown the door.

The end product, while not up to Rich’s usual binaural standards, will be worth the wait.

We wish him a fast and relatively painfree recovery.

  5. …or u were kidnapped by modern day ninja? That podcaster guy at Evil Genius Chronicles uses Audio Hijack Pro (mac only) that seems to have eliminated almost all editing…

Look forward to your next podcast

  6. Second the digging of the random mutterings. I enjoy the randomness…
