Herro Rich, you pissy bastard
You're right I fucked it up, it's Flom not From. I spelled it right in my shownotes. Hey, shit happens. Keep up the good work.

Gee… I didn't mean it like it sounded. I enjoy your commentary very much, I was just blown away by the din of that location you were at, and wished I had a long stretch of just the ambient sound to relish. Glad your back at it. Keep it up. Don't stop talking.

Hello Rich,
I'm not even sure how I stumbled onto you site, But I must say I'm floored by you recordings. The make-shift binaural mics provide wonderful quality sound for their low cost engineering! Great job, I look forward to hearing more in the future.
I've always had an interest in Japan and hope to visit in a few years, I'm very slowly picking up the language and even though I didn't really understand any of your conversations on the street, I was able to pick up a word of two. Not bad, since I haven't truely been studying lately.
Well thanks again for the tours!

Rich,
I'm glad iPodder caught another edition of Herro Flom Japan at long last!
As for doing a podcast in Japanese, that would be great but in my opinion I'd rather hear soundseeing tours and commentary in your own language.
Keep up the great work! Thanks.

I was very surprised to be mentioned.. I thought you'd have so many other things to share before my stuff came along. Looking forward to hearing the rest of it, if only to try and make out any recordings you have of our dinner.
Keep it up, very entertaining as always. Nice way to end the day.

Another good cast. I like the soundscape feel but I appreciate your commentary as well. Commentary is especially effective when you use it to set up the sound scene before you dive in like when you described Masagoro before talking to her.

You may have thought this one was bad, but I loved listening to the soundscape. Oh, and the vodka? I laughed so hard that I nearly fell off my chair!
I really enjoy your commentary as you walk around. You frequently point out cultural differences that may not be obvious (like apprenticeships for plastic food displays and how to properly slurp your noodles!) My young daughter is a manga/anime fan, and your commentaries also help me explain cultural nuances that she may not understand when she runs across them.
Keep up the good work…we're listening!

Thanks for sharing that. I'll try to stop cursing from now on.
